Nigeria 2011 Budget

The upper chamber of the National Assembly during its sitting on the 16th of March 2011 approved a sum of N4.972 trillion for 2011 budget.

A breakdown of the budget shows that a sum of N2.467 trillion is allocated to recurrent expenditure, while N1.563 trillion is allocated to capital expenditure, the sum of N497 trillion is also set aside for statutory transfers while N445 billion is allocated for debt servicing.
